mimesis is an engineering company born as a spin-off company of the LIFT group aiming at linking the academic and the industrial worlds. The company is specialized in R&D in the fields of fluids, thermofluids, and design.

LIFT is the laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics at UNIMORE (Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia). It includes researchers and professors of DIEF (Dipartimento di Ingegneria “Enzo Ferrari”) in Modena and of DISMI (Dipartimento di Scienze e Metodi dell’Ingegneria) in Reggio Emilia.

EELab is the Energy Efficiency Laboratory of the Engineering Department “Enzo Ferrari”of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. It was drawn from the know-how of the Thermal Fluid Group in the fields of energy efficiency and measurement.

BEELab is a laboratory of the Department of Engineering “Enzo Ferrari” of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, focused on research and scientific support services on renewable energies, with particular attention to bioenergy.
